Billie L. "Bill” Bailey, 82, of Kernersville, NC passed away December 8, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family. Bill was born on November 16, 1942, in Davidson County to M.B. "Bill” Bailey and Wilma Potts Bailey. He graduated from West Davidson High School and immediately joined the Air Force, serving from 1962 to 1969. Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran. After leaving the Air Force, he became a N.C. State Highway Patrolman, stationed in Winston-Salem. After retiring, he received his real estate license and worked in Myrtle Beach for nine years. Bill then moved to Kernersville where he enjoyed raising a garden every summer. He took pride in bragging about the tomatoes he grew.
